Steve's Stories

2012 is already proving to be a very busy beginning to the year for diggers @ the entrance, with many local & long distance holiday members, making the trek to visit us, and why wouldn’t you?

diggers” is a central figure within The Entrance area and its contribution to the social and economic infrastructure is substantial. It is easy to forget the contribution that “diggers” makes to the community and the responsibility it has to its stakeholders – this responsibility is taken very seriously by the board and management alike and as a result we have tried to build a business that services and represents the needs of our whole community. I know we have achieved it by the wonderful feedback received daily.

Don’t forget that it is now renewal time, for those that haven’t taken up the multi year bargains of the 3 -5 year options, don’t hesitate to renew as soon as possible as your rights for benefits ceased 31st December 2011 & you have little more than 2 months left to become financial, and save your self the hassle of going thru the process of joining again & for a $2.20 membership fee you simply can't afford not to be part of the fastest growing family on the Coast.

diggers” has shown great growth in recent years and the drastic increase in our food, beverage and functions business as a result of our new Bites Dining & Pavilion Events Centre, which is developing a niche market, has increased trade above expectations. “diggers” has never looked better and the staff and culture is fantastic, all focused on ensuring the Welcome, Serve, Satisfy objective of “diggers” is met on every occasion.

diggers” is now able to offer you a Club with not only the best location and view, but also the most modern and spacious facilities available on the coast. I guess the best way to be impressed is to see your Club for yourself, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

diggers @ the entrance members are members of a facility to be proud of. Thanks for your support during a very disruptive 2011, I am hopeful this will not continue throughout 2012, however it will be a battle no doubt with Mr Wilkie & his mandatory pre commitment legislation, but with your support we will prosper & maintain what is a very valuable community asset.

Please say "Hi", during your visits to your Club, and I look forward to chatting with you real soon.
