As a long standing member of the community and the regions largest employer it is vital the 'diggers' continue to foster, grow and embrace the extended community relationships that have been formed over some 60+ years. 'diggers' focuses on making a major contribution to the quality of community life for the residents of The Entrance and surrounding districts. 'diggers' commitment to its local community is shown by way of developing facilities and monetary contributions to the local area.
'diggers' host a variety of community functions and or charity events. These events highlight and reinforce our facilities, services and commitment to a wider community group. Additionally whilst providing our members with value added opportunities and experiences.
'diggers' commitment to the community can be measured by the continued community feedback and recognition, coupled with industry accolades, the Achievement Wall - proudly displays our industry awards to all members and their guests to highlight the commitment that we as an organisation make to the community of The Entrance on a daily basis.
There are a large number of community organisations & individuals which 'diggers' supports, some of these include: Coast Shelter, The Entrance Town Centre Pelican Feeding, Tuggerah Lakers Basketball Association, Glenvale School and Yarran Early Intervention Services.
